MySQL Configuration Audit

Majority of companies that we helped to achieve better MySQL performance, had their database configured improperly. More than half of them suffered from problems specifically related to the bad configuration and many were relying on the default settings.

When examining MySQL, we initially look for obvious mistakes such as missing options or incorrectly sized buffers and create an updated configuration that is free of basic problems. We will further tune the settings as we complete next stages of MySQL HealthCheck Audit.

What will be examined?

  • Global buffers
  • Per-connection local buffers
  • Storage engine specific settings
  • Database logs
  • Network settings
